As people get older they become more vulnerable to mineral and vitamin deficiencies for a number of reasons,including loss of appetite and digestive problems.One important mineral that they may lock is iron,an essential component of haemoglobin-the oxygen carrying protein in blood.Iron deficiency is closely linked to blood disorders such as anaemia.Iron-rich foods include: 1.Liver 2.Spinach and other green leafy vegetables 3.Oily fish such as sardines 4.Black kidney beans 5.Beef and chicken

Why do people say vegetarians will have a hard time getting enough iron?
